Connie Chow joined FUGA as the company’s Dance & Electronic lead in February 2021, following her 8-year stint as Executive Vice President of Los Angeles-based Artist Management company Little Empire Music.
Over the last 18 months, Connie has single-handedly built out the distributor’s Dance & Electronic division, globally scaling the department to include label clients across the UK, GSA and the Benelux from STMPD and Revealed through to Hospital Records; with this becoming FUGA’s largest and most prolific genre.
Connie’s deep understanding, knowledge and insight across both the genre and the development of clients’ business, campaign and operational objectives, both on a regional and global level, has enabled to her to acquire and work with prominent labels including Hospital Records, STMPD, Hexagon, Dim Mak and many more; seeing significant success with multiple campaigns. Holding a consistent track record in leading diverse teams and exceeding performance targets while promoting a positive culture in fast-paced work environments, Connie has positioned FUGA as a key player within the genre, proving that distributors who empower independent labels and artists, can in fact, compete with major labels.
One of Connie’s key achievements within the last 12 months includes the recent Martin Garrix album campaign, ‘Sentio’. The album campaign was made up of 11 tracks staggered across 5 weeks, mirrored in the style of ‘Spotify Waterfalling’ across all DSPs and platforms; with each track having it’s own artwork and new products with each release. This campaign resulted in an impressive number of firsts for FUGA - the album secured all 52 global NMF playlists on release, 478 total features across DSPs (including editorial playlists & homepage or NR placements) with an average of 53 per release; the total project accumulated over 55 million streams.
Another one of her achievements this year includes Hardwell’s comeback album, ‘REVELS NEVER DIE’ released after the seminal EDM DJ’s 4-year hiatus. Connie led the campaign to achieve features on all major DSPs, including #1 placement and cover image on Spotify’s MINT, Hot New Dance and #2 on Spotify’s Room Dance, amongst others.
Alongside her prolific work with FUGA, Connie is also on the executive board for AFEM, a Recording Academy voting member for the Grammy Awards and an inspirational mentor for the Asian American collective across the entertainment industries.
Previously she was the executive Vice President of Los Angeles based Artist Management company Little Empire Music, where she oversees an international roster of 30 artists and has helped guide the careers of industry icons such as Galantis, Santigold, Kaskade and Nicole Moudaber.
Spending 8 years at Little Empire honing her craft as an Artist Manager, Connie has a proven track record of helping artists achieve their dreams on a scale most could never imagine. Currently the Manager for LEM acts including Sam I, Justin Jay, JSTJR, Huxley Anne and Kryptogram; Connie has also overseen the career of the globe-trotting Swedish duo Galantis since before their first ever show at Coachella in 2014. In one of Dance Music’s biggest international success stories of the past decade, Chow helped shape the intricate campaigns for all of Galantis’ wildly successful albums, which have garnered over 3 Billion Streams and a hundred RIAA Certifications. Furthermore, the touring behemoth of Galantis benefited from Connie’s keen understanding of international touring, as the Grammy Nominated duo has performed at iconic venues such around the world including the Greek Theater in Los Angeles and the O2 Academy in Brixton, as well as just about every major festival across the globe including Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Lollapalooza, Electric Zoo and V Festival.
Also while at Little Empire, Chow oversaw the release of acclaimed genre-bending luminary Santigold’s most recent genre-defying project “I Don’t Want: The Goldfire Session. Prior to working with Galantis & Santigold, Connie played a crucial role on the management team for Dance Music headliner Kaskade, working with him as a Day to Day Manager on his critically acclaimed “Automatic” album, as well as spearheading his sellout 22K hard ticket sell-out of the Los Angeles Convention Center in 2016.

”In 2019, the homegrown management company is expanding in big ways. First, it celebrates the promotion of Connie Chow to vice president. She's worked quite closely with LaFera on Galantis and Santigold for years, and her role as a manger for Pat Lok and co-manager for Justin Jay makes her an important piece of the management team”
